| Abstract: | This paper deals with the problem of students’ information security. It is noted that young people, particularly students, is a social group that is most vulnerable to the risks of the information society. The main mechanism for countering false, distorted, unverified information is increasing the media literacy of young people, which allows to protect against disinformation influences and help maintain information security. Development of students’ critical thinking skills ensures safe and responsible use of media for free access, creation of information and exchange of information and knowledge in all linguistic, cultural and social groups. |
| Description: | У роботі розглядається проблема інформаційної безпеки студентів. Зазначається, що молодь, зокрема студентство, є соціальною групою, яка найбільш вразлива до ризиків інформаційного суспільства. Основним механізмом протидії неправдивій, спотвореній, неперевіреній інформації є підвищення медіаграмотності молоді, що дозволяє захистити від дезінформаційних впливів та сприяє збереженню інформаційної безпеки. Розвиток навичок критичного мислення студентів сприяє безпечному та відповідальному використанню медіа для вільного доступу, створенню інформації та обміну інформацією й знаннями у мовних, культурних і соціальних групах. |
