| Abstract: | Розвиток інформаційних технологій обумовив появу нових фінансових інструментів, платіжних систем, методів і платформ розрахунків. Криптовалюта є засобом обігу, платежів, принципово відмінним від традиційних. Обізнаність про появу, існування електронних грошей є доволі високою, проте обізнаність про механізм їх функціонування та можливості використання/здійснення розрахунків, фінансування проєктів є низькою. Визначено бар’єри та перспективи розвитку ринку електронних грошей. Враховуючи їх особливості, перспективи визнання / урегулювання криптовалют як фінансового інструмента нарівні із вільноконвертованими валютами (долар, євро тощо) є нереалістичними і недоцільними у рамках існуючих механізмів функціонування ринку криптовалют. |
| Description: | The development of information technologies led to the emergence of new financial instruments, payment systems, payment methods and platforms. Cryptocurrency is a means of circulation and payments, fundamentally different from traditional ones. Awareness of the emergence and calculation of electronic money is good and high, but awareness of the mechanism of its functioning and the possibility of using/making calculations and financing projects is low. Barriers and prospects for the development of the electronic money market have been identified. Considering their peculiarities, the prospects of recognizing regulation as a financial/financial instrument on a par with freely convertible currencies (dollar, euro, etc.) are unrealistic and inappropriate within the framework of the existing market functioning mechanisms in the market. |
