| Abstract: | Багатовікова історія України демонструє розпорошеність українства у виборюванні незалежності та суверенітету, що неодноразово приводило до втрати державності. Звідси проблема пошуку шляхів об’єднання населення навколо національної ідеї. У статті розглянуто проблему громадянської освіти молоді в умовах війни та глобалізаційних викликів крізь призму ідей представників української наукової школи фізичної економії, фундатором якої є С. Подолинський. Проаналізовано виховний потенціал праць С. Подолинського та творів М. Руденка, які пов’язували національну безпеку з освітою особистості. Доведено, що саме освіта є основою формування національної єдності, громадянського суспільства та патріотизму молоді. Обґрунтовано необхідність гармонізації громадянської освіти до сучасних реалій із урахуванням українського менталітету. |
| Description: | The article examines the problem of civic education of Ukrainian youth in the context of war and globalization challenges through the prism of the Ukrainian school of physical economy, founded by Serhii Podolynskyi. The author argues that education is the foundation of national unity, civic consciousness, and patriotism. The relevance of the ideas of S. Podolinsky and Mykola Rudenko, who linked national security with the moral and intellectual development of the individual, is emphasized. Their scientific legacy reveals a deep interconnection between education, culture, and the sustainable existence of a nation. The study emphasizes that Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine has become a catalyst for rethinking the role of civic education in ensuring the stability and independence of the state. It has been proven that the values of responsibility, solidarity, and active citizenship should be at the core of modern education. The author stresses the need to harmonize civic education with European democratic standards while preserving Ukrainian mentality, traditions, and moral foundations. The ideas of representatives of the Ukrainian school of physical economy are proposed to be considered as a theoretical and worldview basis for the renewal of civic education in Ukraine. Their scientific work demonstrates that national identity and patriotism are formed through knowledge, ethical awareness, and spiritual strength. The conclusion is made that quality education is a key factor in strengthening statehood and national security. The further development of civic education should be based on the philosophical and scientific heritage of Ukrainian thinkers, integrating their ideas into educational content to form an active, responsible, and patriotic young generation capable of defending freedom and shaping the future of the state. |
