dc.description	Purpose: The purpose of this work is to study the relationship between exterior indicators and working qualities of dogs of service breeds of the Sumy Regional Dog Breeding Center of KSU. The subject of research: the exterior and working qualities of dogs of service breeds of the Sumy Regional Dog Breeding Center of KSU; Research results: An analysis of the population of service dog breeds in the Sumy region and the relationship between exterior indicators and working qualities of animals was carried out. It was determined that in the studied population of dogs, differences in the exterior evaluation of dogs do not have a decisive influence on the formation of working qualities of animals. As a result of the analysis of the relationship between exterior features and working qualities of dogs, it was determined that exterior defects, such as deficiencies of the dental system and cryptorchidism, have a negative effect on the protective qualities of animals with a statistically significant difference (Р≥0.95-0.999). It has been proven that when selecting animals for breeding, it is necessary to take into account both the working qualities of the animals and the exterior.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Мета: Метою даної роботи є вивчення взаємозвʼязку показників екстерʼєру та робочих якостей собак службових порід Сумського обласного центру собаківництва КСУ. Предмет досліджень : екстерʼєру та робочих якостей собак службових порід Сумського обласного центру собаківництва КСУ; Результати досліджень: Проведений аналіз популяції собак службових порід в Сумській області та взаємозвʼязку показників екстерʼєру та робочих якостей тварин. Визначено, що в досліджуваній популяції собак відмінності в екстер‘єрній оцінці собак не мають визначального впливу на формування робочих якостей тварин. В результаті аналізу взаємозв‘язку ознак екстерʼєру та робочих якостей собак видзначено, що вади екстерʼєру, такі як недоліки зубої системи та крипторхізм негативно впливають при статистично вірогідній різниці (Р≥0,95-0,999) на захисні якості тварин. Доведено, що при відборі тварин до племінного розведення необхідно окремо враховувати як робочі якості тварин, так і екстерʼєрні.	uk_UA
