Abstract:
Дослідження кваліфікаційної роботи присвячено вивченню особливостей вирощування декоративної форми сосни чорної — Pinus nigra 'Brepo' — в умовах садивного центру «Едельвейс» (м. Суми). У теоретичній частині охарактеризовано біологічні та декоративні властивості сорту, проаналізовано його господарське значення та перспективи використання в озелененні міських і приватних територій. Описано природні умови регіону, агротехнічні особливості та методи досліджень.
У результаті роботи встановлено високу адаптивність Pinus nigra 'Brepo' до кліматичних умов північно-східної України, стабільні темпи росту, стійкість до хвороб і шкідників, а також збереження декоративності протягом року. Зроблено висновки щодо доцільності широкого впровадження сорту в озеленення та розсадницьке виробництво. Рекомендовано застосування дренованого ґрунту, мульчування, крапельного поливу та профілактичної обробки для досягнення найкращих результатів.

The qualification thesis is devoted to studying the specific features of cultivating the ornamental form of black pine — Pinus nigra 'Brepo' — under the conditions of the “Edelweiss” planting center (Sumy). The theoretical part describes the biological and ornamental characteristics of the variety, analyzes its economic value and potential for use in landscaping of urban and private areas. It also outlines the natural conditions of the region, agrotechnical aspects, and research methods.
The study established the high adaptability of Pinus nigra 'Brepo' to the climatic conditions of northeastern Ukraine, stable growth rates, resistance to diseases and pests, and year-round ornamental appeal. Conclusions were drawn regarding the feasibility of the variety’s widespread use in landscaping and nursery production. The use of well-drained soil, mulching, drip irrigation, and preventive treatments is recommended for achieving optimal results.
