The importance of using growth regulators when growing winter wheat in the conditions of the northeastern forest Steppe of Ukraine

Abstract

The results of the study of the use of growth regulators in the cultivation of winter wheat are presented. Growth regulators have been found to increase the efficiency of moisture use by closing stomata. They also affect the increase in the ratio of roots to aboveground biomass, and can also affect the accumulation of antioxidants that protect plants during stressful conditions. By applying growth regulators, you can affect the improvement of productive bushing and prolong the activity of the leaf area. Scientists have established that growth regulators can reduce moisture evaporation by 29%. With the help of growth regulators, it is possible to achieve a partial elimination of the stressful impact of the environment or to help plants recover from active stress. Theoretically, it can be assumed that the regulator itself causes an increase or decrease in yield, since its activity is correlated with the influence of all other environmental parameters.
