dc.description	The article examines the role of a foreign language in the formation of soft skills of students of agricultural universities. This article analyzes scientific sources on the issue of the formation of so-called soft skills when students learn a foreign language in institutions of higher education. The publication analyzes educational and professional programs, according to which training is conducted in universities for the availability and formation of soft skills. General and professional competencies, as well as subject-related learning outcomes, are analyzed. The definition of soft skills and hard skills is given and their classification according to various scientific sources is given. The matrix of provision of program learning outcomes (LPL) by relevant disciplines in some specialties of an agricultural university is analyzed. This publication analyzes the tasks and exercises that are used to develop various speech skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking in terms of which soft skills they develop and how.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	У статті розглядається роль іноземної мови у формуванні м’яких навичок студентів аграрних вузів. В даній статті проводиться аналіз наукових джерел щодо питання формування так званих м’яких навичок при вивченні студентами іноземної мови у закладах вищої освіти. В публікації аналізуються освітньо-професійні програми, за якими проводиться навчання у вишах на предмет наявності та формування м’яких навичок. Аналізуються загальні та фахові компетенції, а також предметні результати навчання. Дається дефініція м’яким навичкам та твердим навичкам та наводиться їх класифікація згідно різних наукових джерел. Аналізується матриця забезпечення програмних результатів навчання (ПРН) відповідними дисциплінами на деяких спеціальностях аграрного вузу. У даній публікації проводиться аналіз завдань та вправ, які використовуються для формування різних навичок мовленнєвої діяльності: читання, письма, аудіювання, говоріння щодо того, які м’які навички вони формують і яким чином.	uk_UA
