Теза присвячена проблемі формування навички критичного мислення при вивченні іноземних мов. Проблема формування цієї навички є дискусійною галуззю досліджень у різних дисциплінах протягом довгого часу. Хоча серед фахівців вищої освіти існує спільна думка про важливість навичок критичного мислення, немає ясності щодо того, що таке критичне мислення.
Метою статті є вивчення принципів розвитку та використання навичок критичного мислення на заняттях з іноземної мови.

The thesis is devoted to the problem of developing critical thinking skills when learning foreign languages. The problem of forming this skill has been a debatable field of research in various disciplines for a long time. Although there is a consensus among higher education professionals about the importance of critical thinking skills, there is a lack of clarity about what critical thinking is.
The purpose of the article is to study the principles of development and use of critical thinking skills in foreign language classes.
