dc.description	Стаття спрямована на дослідження стереотипів як усталених надмірно узагальнених уявлень про певне скупчення людей, притаманних кожному суспільству. Важливо було оцінити вплив національних і гендерних стереотипів на міжкультурну комунікацію між етнічно або культурно різними людьми. За допомогою порівняльного літературознавчого аналізу та соціокультурної інтерпретації текстів романів автори дослідили відображення національних і гендерних стереотипів у літературі, яка фактично є однією з форм представлення соціокультурного дискурсу.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	The paper is targeted to study stereotypes as fixed overgeneralized ideas about a certain cluster of people, that are inherent in every society. It was essential to appraise the influence of national and gender stereotypes on intercultural communication between ethnically or culturally diverse people. The authors applied comparative literature analysis and sociocultural interpretation of the texts of the novels to explore how national and gender stereotypes are reflected in literature, which is actually one of the forms of sociocultural discourse presentation.	uk_UA
