dc.description	The article is devoted to the study of prefix formation of substantive terms in the modern English legal terminological subsystem. Currently, the field of terminology is open to active research activities in view of the dynamic development of science and technology, the increase in the volume of professional information, integration processes, and the strengthening of the role of terminology. Linguists pay attention to the study of term systems of various fields, analyzing the peculiarities of the formation of terms and their functioning in the language system. The object of our analysis is the modern English legal terminological subsystem, the subject of research is the prefix method of creating noun terms of the specified terminological subsystem. The purpose of the work is to study the features of prefix creation of substantive terminological units in the legal terminological subsystem. In legal terminology, a significant place is given to productive means of word formation. Prefix term formation is distinguished among them, which consists in the combination of prefixes with a word-forming base. The prefix method of creating English legal noun terms is 9%.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Стаття присвячена дослідженню префіксального творення субстантивних термінів у сучасній англійській юридичній термінологічній підсистемі. На часі сфера термінології відкрита до активної дослідницької діяльності з огляду на динамічний розвиток науки і техніки, збільшення обсягу професійної інформації, процеси інтеграції, посилення ролі термінотворення. Лінгвісти приділяють увагу вивченню терміносистем різних галузей, аналізуючи особливості утворення термінів та їх функціонування у системі мови. Об’єкт нашого аналізу – сучасна англiйська юридична термінологічна підсистема, предмет дослiдження – префіксальний спосіб творення термінів-іменників зазначеної термінологічної підсистеми. Метою роботи є вивчення особливостей префіксального творення субстантивних термінологічних одиниць в юридичній термінологічній підсистемі. В юридичній термінології значне місце відводиться продуктивним засобам словотвору. Серед них виокремлюється префіксальне термінотворення, що полягає у поєднанні префіксів зі словотворчою основою. Префіксальний спосіб творення англійських юридичних термінів-іменників становить 9%.	uk_UA
