Abstract

The qualification work consists of an introduction, three main sections, conclusions and suggestions, a list of references and appendices. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the research topic, formulates its purpose and objectives, defines the object, subject and methods of the study, reveals the scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the qualification work, provides information on the testing of the research results The first chapter, ‘Overview of the Definition and Measurement of Competitiveness in the Context of Higher Education’, explores the concepts related to private colleges and universities and analyses the tools of strategic analysis. The second section ‘Organisational and Economic Description of the University’ analyses the organisational structure, mission, goals and key indicators of financial and economic activity of the university under study, assesses the university's research activities, including publications, patents and scientific cooperation, and provides a comparative analysis of the current state of competitiveness of the university in comparison with analogue institutions. In the third section, ‘Strategies for Improving the University's Competitiveness’, the author proposes to create a strong institutional brand to increase competitiveness and attract the best talent, formulate strategies for improving teaching and learning methods to enhance academic excellence, and effective financial management strategies to ensure long-term sustainability and growth. The aspects of creating an inclusive campus culture that promotes student success are noteworthy. The practical significance of the findings lies in the significance of the study and is determined by its results, which allowed the university management to provide organisational and practical recommendations aimed at improving the management system.
