dc.description	The paper deals with the ontogenetic structure of populations of the leading forest-forming tree species within the Left-Bank Polissya of Ukraine. The study covers such species as Pinus sylvestris L., Quercus robur L., Acer platanoides L. and others. The plants were differentiated by ontogenetic states (seedlings, juveniles, immatures, virgin, generative and senescent), the completeness and symmetry of ontogenetic spectra were analyzed, and the type of population was determined: invasive, normal or regressive. The results indicate that ontogenetic spectra are mostly incomplete in most populations, including Pinus sylvestris, where only about 3% of the studied populations are complete. The main problem is the poor representation of the younger generation of trees, which indicates the complexity of natural regeneration processes. At the same time, cases of wave emergence of juvenile and virgin plants associated with the frequency of seed years are recorded. The data obtained emphasize the importance of monitoring the ontogenetic structure to assess the state and dynamics of forest ecosystems.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	В роботі розглянуто онтогенетичну структуру популяцій провідних лісоутворювальних видів дерев у межах Лівобережного Полісся України. Дослідження охоплює такі види, як Pinus sylvestris L., Quercus robur L., Acer platanoides L. та інші. Проведено диференціацію рослин за онтогенетичними станами (проростки, ювенільні, імматурні, віргінільні, генеративні та сенільні), проаналізовано повноту та симетричність онтогенетичних спектрів, а також визначено тип популяції: інвазійна, нормальна або регресивна. Результати свідчать про переважну неповноту онтогенетичних спектрів у більшості популяцій, зокрема Pinus sylvestris, де повними є лише близько 3% досліджених популяцій. Основною проблемою є слабка представленість молодого покоління дерев, що свідчить про ускладненість процесів природного відновлення. Водночас фіксуються випадки хвильової появи ювенільних і віргінільних рослин, пов’язані з періодичністю насіннєвих років. Отримані дані підкреслюють важливість моніторингу онтогенетичної структури для оцінки стану та динаміки лісових екосистем.	uk_UA
