dc.description	In the work, against the background of the natural conditions of the Sumy region, the features of the forest protective plantations of the Sumy Forestry Department were studied, their condition, compliance of the main species with the types of local conditions, and other aspects. It was established that the sanitary condition of the plantations is satisfactory, there is no damage by pests and diseases. Almost all species grow at 1 and higher bonity, which indicates the compliance of the species composition with the types of local conditions. A feature of the protective plantations of the Sumy Forestry Department is that a significant number of them have a vegetative sprout origin, which reduces the durability of the plantations themselves and the term of their use of their functions. Therefore, it is recommended to carry out work to replace plantations of vegetative origin with plantations of seed origin. It was established that under the canopy of oak and linden plantations of mature age there is a sufficient amount of undergrowth of these species, which can be used to form a future forest without the stage of creating forest crops.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	В роботі на фоні природних умов Сумського регіону були досліджені особливості лісових захисних насаджень Сумського лісового господарства, їх стан, відповідність головних порід типам умов місцезростання та інші аспекти. Встановлено, що санітарний стан насаджень задовільних, пошкодження шкідниками та хворобами відсутній. Майже всі породи ростуть за 1 і вище бонітетом, що свідчить про відповідність породного складу типам умов місцезростання. Особливістю захисних насаджень Сумського лісового господарства є те, що значна кількість з них має вегетативне паросткове походження, що зменшує довговічність самих насаджень і термін використання ними своїх функцій. Тому рекомендовано проводити роботи по заміні насаджень вегетативного походження на насадження насінного походження. Встановлено, що під наметом насаджень дуба та липи стиглого віку є достатня кількість підросту цих порід, який можна використати для формування майбутнього лісу без стадії створення лісових культур.	uk_UA
