dc.description	The article explores modern theoretical and practical approaches to the development of students’ academic competences in the context of the competency-based paradigm of higher education, emphasizing the need to align educational objectives with the requirements of globalization and digital transformation. It examines the conceptual foundations of academic literacy, focusing on academic writing as a core component of professional and scholarly communication. Special attention is devoted to the interrelation between linguistic, cognitive, and communicative aspects of textual competence, as well as to themethodological principles underlying the formation of academic integrity and responsibility in the educational process.The study systematizes innovative methods and pedagogical technologies used to foster students’ academic writing skills, including project-based learning, peer review, reflective practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration. It identifies internal and external factors that influence the effectiveness of mastering academic communication–motivation, linguistic background, teacher expertise, institutional policies, and the digital infrastructure of the educational environment. In addition, the article generalizes both international and Ukrainian practices of institutional support for academic development, analyzing university models, academic writing centers, and initiatives promoting open science and research ethics.A comparative analysis of country-specific approaches to academic literacy formation reveals differences in pedagogical strategies, assessment systems, and the integration of digital tools for academic communication. The research highlights key trends in the evolution of academic culture: the transition from reproductive to creative learning, the growing role of interdisciplinary methods, the emphasis on critical thinking, and the integration of digital competences in the academic curriculum. It also outlines prospects for further research aimed at enhancing the quality of students’ written proficiency, strengthening institutional mechanisms of academic integrity, and promoting sustainable academic development within a global educational ecosystem.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	У статті здійснено науковий аналіз теоретичних і методологічних підходів до формування академічних компетентностей здобувачів, що розглядається крізь призму розвитку компетентнісної парадигми у вищій освіті. Систематизовано методики розвитку академічного письма, схарактеризовано чинники, що впливають на ефективність опанування майбутніми фахівцяминаукового дискурсу, та узагальнено міжнародні й вітчизняніпрактики інституційної підтримки. Проведено порівняльний аналіз моделей формування академічних компетентностей у вітчизняному та світовому освітньому просторі, окреслено основні тенденції становлення академічної культури й визначено перспективні напрями подальших досліджень, спрямованих напідвищення якості письмової підготовки здобувачів вищої освіти.	uk_UA
