Training future agrarians : Specifics of academic programmes of bachelor's degrees in Great Britain

Abstract

The article deals with training future agrarians in Great Britain. The aim of the paper is to review specifics of academic programmes of bachelor's degrees with honours in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Food, Nutrition and Consumer Sciences. As a result of the research we have come to the conclusion that training future agrarians correspondences the needs and aspirations of society and labour market. Moreover it promotes the growth of a graduates’ professional approach to lifelong learning. У статті розглянуто підготовку майбутніх аграріїв-бакалаврів у галузі сільського господарства, садівництва, лісівництва, харчових технологій і харчування, споживчих наук у Великій Британії Підкреслюється, що підготовка майбутніх аграріїв відповідає потребам ринку праці, заохочує професійне зростання випускників, навчання упродовж життя.
