Socio economic aspects of non-timber forest product certification in Ukraine

Abstract

Theses outline ways to adapt the international forest certification requirements under the FSC® scheme for the forest management system (in the field of non-timber forest products) to the conditions of Ukraine. Excesses, which are given in international requirements, are compared with the national legislation. The features of social and economic components of certification of non-timber forest products at the present stage of development at State Enterprise “Manevytske Forest Management Unit” were considered. У тезах наведено шляхи адаптації міжнародних вимог лісової сертифікації за схемою FSC® стосовно системи ведення лісового господарства (у розрізі недеревинних лісових продуктів) до умов України. Вказаними є перевищення, які наведені у міжнародних вимогах, у порівнянні з національним законодавством. Розглядалися особливості соціальної та економічної складових сертифікації недеревинних лісових продуктів на сучасному етапі розвитку у державному підприємстві «Маневицьке лісове господарство».
