Migration Crisis and Social Security : Challenges and Consequences

Abstract

The article deals with issues related to the intensification of migration processes in the modern world, especially in the context of globalization and international conflicts. The authors analyse the economic, social and legal aspects of migration crisis, focusing especially on its impact on the social security system. The research is based on interdisciplinary approaches, including economic, sociological, legal and civilizational analysis. Particular attention is paid to the migration crisis caused by the Russian aggression in Ukraine after 2014 and the full-scale invasion of 2022, which caused significant demographic changes and the impact on social services in both Ukraine and EU countries. The article also discusses the challenges associated with the integration of migrants, the preservation of national identity and the solution of socio-economic problems in host countries.
