Опираючись на результати попередніх дослідників відомо, що варооз одна із найбільш поширених та небезпечних хвороб в бджільництві. В наш час відомо досить багато противовароозних засобів, але більшість з них як правило не є екологічно безпечними засобами які б не залишалися в продуктах бджільництва, не шкодили як бджолам так і людині. Та в той же час були ефективними засобами.
