Abstract:
Робота присвячена пам’яткам культурної спадщини Сумського району, та перспективам їх використання із туристичною метою. На думку автора, серед населених пунктів району найбільші шанси для перетворення на туристичний центр (за умови розбудови відповідної інфраструктури) має Лебедин. Що ж стосується менших населених пунктів, то існує реальний ризик поступової втрати значної частини місцевого архітектурного надбання. При цьому традиційні проблеми у справі охорони пам’яток культурної спадщини (недостатність ресурсів для відбудови та реставрації, брак відповідних фахівців, байдужість) посилюються викликами воєнного часу.

The work is devoted to the monuments of cultural heritage of the Sumy district, and the prospects of their use for tourist purposes. In the opinion of the author, Lebedyn has the greatest chance of becoming a tourist center among the settlements of the district (provided that the appropriate infrastructure is developed). As for smaller settlements, there is a real risk of the gradual loss of a significant part of the local architectural heritage. At the same time, traditional problems in the protection of cultural heritage monuments (insufficient resources for reconstruction and restoration, lack of appropriate specialists, indifference) are exacerbated by the problems of wartime.
