U-трубчасті манометри – це тип манометрів, які використовують U-подібну трубку з рідиною, щоб вимірювати тиск. Зазвичай вони складаються з прозорої трубки, наповненої рідиною, зануреної у рідину, яку вимірюють, та двох різних рівнів рідини в трубці. Зміна рівнів рідини у трубці відбувається відповідно до зміни тиску. В той же час є необхідність в корекції сили тяжіння. Це пов’язано з тим, що сила тяжіння в місці розташування приладу регулює вагу стовпця рідини.
