В роботі проведено аналіз особливостей організації освітлення по вулиці Герасима Кондратьєва, що є фактично центральною вулицею міста Суми. Наведено основне обладнання, що використовується для виконання освітлення вулиці.
Наведено особливості та шляхи підвищення показників надійності системи вуличного електричного освітлення вулиці. Виконано вибір місць розміщення основного обладнання для освітлення та визначено особливості показників освітленості вулиці.
Виконано розрахунки основних показників освітлення вулиці та вказано основне обладнання, що має вплив на показники надійності. Наведено основні схеми підключення вуличного освітлення ділянки вулиці, що аналізується.

The paper analyzes the features of the organization of lighting on Gerasym Kondratyev Street, which is actually the central street of the city of Sumy. The main equipment used to perform street lighting is presented.
The features and ways to increase the reliability of the street electric lighting system are presented. The locations of the main lighting equipment are selected and the features of the street illumination indicators are determined.
The calculations of the main indicators of street lighting are performed and the main equipment that has an impact on reliability indicators is indicated. The main schemes for connecting street lighting for the analyzed section of the street are presented.
