dc.description	The qualification work is devoted to the study of the polymorphism of the kappa-casein gene in the herd of black-and-white cattle. The breeding herd of black-and-white cattle of the experimental farm is represented by highly productive animals. The genealogical structure of the herd has narrowed somewhat in recent years and is represented by dams of three genealogical lines of the Holstein breed. The kappa-casein gene is polymorphic in the experimental herd. Animals of three genotypes were identified: AA, AB, BB. The highest frequency in animals of the Sumy type is characteristic of the AA genotype (0.48). The second highest frequency is characteristic of the heterozygous AB genotype (0.36). The share of the BB genotype was only 0.16. In animals of the central type, the distribution of genotypes was as follows: AA-0.44; AB-0.46; BB -0.10. The frequency of allele A was twice as high as the frequency of allele B in animals of both types. Using the χ2 criterion allowed us to determine the degree of correspondence of the actual distribution of genotypes to the expected values. The calculation performed using the Hardy-Weinberg formula indicates the presence of a difference between the actual and expected frequencies of genotypes in animals of the Sumy type and the absence of one in animals of the central type. In terms of average yield, a slight advantage is observed in animals with the AA genotype. They outperformed animals with the AB genotype by 65, and with the BB genotype by 3%. The resulting difference was statistically insignificant. In terms of average fat and protein content in milk, animals with the homozygous BB genotype prevailed.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена дослідженню поліморфізму гену каппа-казеїну в стаді чорно-рябої породи. Племінне стадо чорно-рябої худоби піддослідного господарство представлене високопродуктивними тваринами. Генеалогічна структура стада за останні роки певним образом звузилася та представлена матками трьох генеалогічних ліній голштинської породи. У піддослідному стаді ген каппа-казеїну є поліморфним. Виявлено тварин трьох генотипів: АА, АВ, ВВ. Вища частота у тварин сумського типу характерна генотипу АА (0,48). Друга за величиною частота характерна гетерозиготному генотипу АВ (0,36). Частка генотипу ВВ складала лише 0,16. У тварин центрального типу розподіл генотипів був наступний: АА-0,44; АВ-0,46; ВВ -0,10. Частота алеля А була вищою за частота алеля В в два рази у тварин обох типів. Використання критерію χ2 дозволило нам визначити ступінь відповідності фактичного розподілу генотипів очікуваним значенням. Проведений розрахунок за формулою Харді-Вайнберга вказує на наявність різниці між фактичними та очікуваними частотами генотипів у тварин сумського типу та відсутність у тварин центрального типу. За середньою величиною надою незначна перевага спостерігається у тварин з генотипом АА. Вони переважали тварин з генотипом АВ на 65, а з генотипом ВВ – на 3%. Отримана різниця була статистично незначущою. За середнім вмістом жиру та білка в молоці переважали тварини з гомозиготним генотипом ВВ.	uk_UA
