Стаття сфокусована на описі та аналізі основних трендів у викладанні іноземної мови в умовах дистанційної освіти студентів інженерно-технічного спрямування. Визначені проблеми закладів вищої освіти та особливості технічної освіти в Україні. Інформація про сучасні тренди на основі наукових розробок була узагальнена та представлена у вигляді таблиці, що відображає можливості використання сучасних освітніх технологій в залежності від форми взаємодії між учасниками освітнього процесу. Особлива увага була приділена використанню мультимодальних текстів та інтерактивних симуляцій.
Суть розробки, основні результати:
The article focuses on describing and analysing the main trends in teaching a foreign language in the context of distance education of engineering students. The problems of higher education institutions and the peculiarities of technical education in Ukraine are identified. Information on current trends based on scientific developments has been summarised and presented in the form of a table that reflects the possibilities of using modern educational technologies depending on the form of interaction between the participants of the educational process. Particular attention was paid to the use of multimodal texts and interactive simulations.
