Abstract:
The article examines the role of information technologies and educational environments in improving distance learning in higher education institutions. The author analyzes the principles of open education, the functions of information and educational environments, and the advantages and disadvantages of using the Moodle learning management system. The study concludes that integrating ICT into the educational process is essential for providing flexible, accessible, and high-quality learning in the face of modern challenges.

Автор аналізує принципи відкритої освіти, функції інформаційно-освітніх середовищ, а також переваги та недоліки використання системи управління навчанням Moodle. Зроблено висновок про важливість інтеграції ІКТ у навчальний процес для забезпечення гнучкого, доступного та якісного навчання в умовах сучасних викликів.
