SWOT analysis of socialized functioning and management of universities sports facilities in China

Abstract

The article examines the essence of the category of functioning and management of university sports facilities, including two aspects: socialization of service facilities and service objects. This article uses the method of literature review to analyze the main modes of functioning and management of university sports facilities, as well as the essence of their socialization. A SWOT analysis of internal and external factors in the process of property management of socialized university sports facilities is conducted, on the basis of which, taking into account different location options and combinations of the results obtained, four strategies are proposed to promote the high-quality development of their property management. This allows us to provide recommendations for improving the current property management of socialized university sports facilities. Given the diversity of service recipients, the complexity of management processes and the uncertainty of risk factors of the external environment, the proposed measures will help overcome adverse conditions and minimize threats. Socialized property management of sports facilities at universities involves the involvement of universities of social enterprises to provide property management services. This approach introduces modern enterprise management concepts, meets the conditions of a market economy, and contributes to improving the competitiveness of university sports facilities.
