Кукурудза є однією з провідних зернових культур світового та українського аграрного виробництва. Її врожайність значною мірою залежить від технології висіву, адже саме на початкових етапах вегетації формується потенціал майбутнього врожаю. В цьому контексті вдосконалення конструкцій сівалок стає пріоритетним напрямом науково-технічного прогресу в агропромисловому комплексі.

Corn is one of the leading grain crops in world and Ukrainian agricultural production. Its yield largely depends on the sowing technology, because it is at the initial stages of vegetation that the potential of the future harvest is formed. In this context, improving the designs of seeders becomes a priority direction of scientific and technological progress in the agro-industrial complex.
