The qualification thesis presents the results of a study on the species composition of the main phytophagous insects of sunflower, the population dynamics of dominant insect pests, and the effectiveness of chemical protection of the crop against the meadow moth (Loxostege sticticalis L.) at the farming enterprise “Palun” in the Romny District of Sumy Region.
