У кваліфікаційній роботі розглянуто питання особливостей формування врожайних показників сортів ячменю озимого в умовах СТОВ "Піщане" Сумського району Сумської області. Дослідження проводилися протягом 2024-2025 років. Об’єктом дослідження виступали п’ять сортів ячменю озимого. У результаті дослідження встановлено особливості формування врожайності кожного сорту.
Максимальні показники числа зерен у колосі отримано за використання сортів КВС Меридіан – 25,2 шт. та Хайлайт – 25,1 шт. Найменша кількість зерен у колосі було отримано у сорту Скарпія – 23,1 шт. Відмічено, що найбільша вага отримана за сівби сорту КВС Меридіан – 1,16 г. Урожайність ячменю озимого варіювала в межах від 3,98 до 5,39 т/га. Так, максимальна урожайність відмічена за сівби сорту КВС Меридіан і становила 5,39 т/га. За сівби інших сортів було відмічено зменшення урожайності. Так у сортів Парадіс, Снігова королева, Хайлайт, Скарпія урожайність становила 4,67, 4,88, 5,15, 3,98 т/га, відповідно.
Висновки. Результати досліджень свідчать про ефективність і перспективність застосування сучасних сортів ячменю озимого. Залежно від сорту покращуються структурні показники рослини, а також підвищується урожайність зерна ячменю озимого.

The qualification work considered the issue of the peculiarities of the formation of yield indicators of winter barley varieties in the conditions of the "Pishchane" STOV of the Sumy district of the Sumy region. The research was conducted during 2024-2025. The object of the study was five varieties of winter barley. As a result of the study, the peculiarities of the formation of the yield of each variety were established. The maximum indicators of the number of grains in the ear were obtained when using the varieties KVS Meridian – 25.2 pcs. and Highlight – 25.1 pcs. The smallest number of grains in the ear was obtained from the variety Skarpiya – 23.1 pcs. It was noted that the greatest weight was obtained when sowing the variety KVS Meridian – 1.16 g. The yield of winter barley varied from 3.98 to 5.39 t/ha. Thus, the maximum yield was noted when sowing the KWS Meridian variety and amounted to 5.39 t/ha. When sowing other varieties, a decrease in yield was noted. Thus, for the varieties Paradise, Snow Queen, Highlight, Scarpia, the yield was 4.67, 4.88, 5.15, 3.98 t/ha, respectively.
Conclusions. The results of the research indicate the effectiveness and prospects of using modern varieties of winter barley. Depending on the variety, the structural indicators of the plant improve, and the yield of winter barley grain increases.
