dc.description	In this qualification thesis, research and evaluation of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi population in the “Vero Corde” breeding kennel were conducted, including: exterior (conformation) indicators of the breeding stock, genetic diseases, a genealogical analysis, and an assessment of the exterior traits of the offspring of the kennel’s breeding females. A positive trend in the increase of the kennel’s population size was demonstrated. It was proven that all dogs in the kennel, based on expert evaluations at conformation shows, meet the breed standard, which indicates the quality of the breeding work. Minor exterior shortcomings were identified in some dogs, which require further selective correction. It was noted that all kennel dogs have genetic testing results for breed-specific hereditary diseases. The formation of the kennel’s own breeding line, characterized by the stable transmission of superior conformation traits to subsequent generations, was examined. Recommendations were provided for further work with the breed in the kennel: preservation of key breed characteristics, identification of the main exterior features that will distinguish the kennel’s dogs from other representatives of the breed, and selection of mating partners based on genetic testing results for hereditary diseases.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	В кваліфікаційній роботі проводилось дослідження і оцінка поголів’я собак породи вельш коргі пемброк племінного розпліднику «Vero Corde»: екстер’єрні показники поголів’я, генетичні захворювання, генеалогічне дослідження, оцінка екстер’єрних показників потомків племінних сук розплідника. Доведено, що все поголів’я розплідника за результатами експертизи на екстер`єрних виставках відповідає стандарту породи, що вказує на рівень племінної роботи. Вказано на окремі незначні недоліки екстер’єру у частини собак, що потребує подальшої селекційної корекції. Відмічено, що всі собаки розплідника мають результати генетичного тестування на характерні для породи спадкові захворювання. Досліджено формування у розпліднику власної родини із стабільною передачею кращих показників екстер’єру наступним поколінням. Надані рекомендації для подальшої роботи з породою в розпліднику: збереження важливих породних ознак, необхідність визначення основних показників екстер’єру, які будуть виділяти собак розплідника серед інших представників породи, проведення підбору партнерів для в’язки виходячи з результатів досліджень на спадкові захворювання.	uk_UA
