The paper is aimed to study the features of the development of HEIs students’ soft skills in the process of teaching English online. It is noted, that in the process of teaching a foreign language, favorable conditions are created for the development of soft skills using interactive methods (small group discussions, role-playing, and business games). In extracurricular work, an effective measure for developing soft skills is participation in English Speaking Club meetings, where students have the opportunity to practice English in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
Суть розробки, основні результати:
Метою роботи є вивчення особливостей розвитку м’яких навичок (soft skills) у студентів ЗВО у процесі онлайн-навчання англійської мови. Зазначено, що у процесі викладання іноземної мови створюються сприятливі умови для розвитку м’яких навичок (soft skills) за допомогою інтерактивних методів (дискусій у малих групах, рольових ігор та ділових ігор). У позакласній роботі ефективним заходом розвитку м’яких навичок є участь у засіданнях English Speaking Club, де студенти мають можливість практикувати англійську мову в неформальній та дружній атмосфері.
