В даній статті автором розглядається питання сучасної вищої освіти, яка перебуває в умовах інтенсивної цифровізації, що зумовлює потребу у пошуку нових підходів до організації освітнього процесу. Самостійна робота студентів виступає одним із ключових чинників формування професійних компетентностей, уміння до самоосвіти та критичного мислення. Проте традиційні форми її організації часто не відповідають потребам сучасного покоління студентів, яке активно користується цифровими технологіями та прагне персоналізованого навчального досвіду. У цьому контексті особливого значення набуває інтеграція технологій штучного інтелекту (ШІ), які відкривають широкі можливості для індивідуалізації навчання, формування гнучких освітніх траєкторій, моніторингу прогресу та розвитку навичок самоорганізації. Водночас постає проблема науково-методичного обґрунтування ефективності та доцільності використання ШІ у процесі організації самостійної роботи студентів, визначення переваг, обмежень і ризиків такої інтеграції.

In this article, the author examines the issue of contemporary higher education, which is undergoing rapid digitalization, creating a need to explore new approaches to organizing the educational process. Independent study by students is one of the key factors in developing professional competencies, self-directed learning skills, and critical thinking. However, traditional forms of organizing such work often do not meet the needs of the current generation of students, who actively use digital technologies and seek a personalized learning experience. In this context, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies takes on particular significance, as they open up broad opportunities for individualizing learning, creating flexible educational pathways, monitoring progress, and developing self-organization skills. At the same time, the challenge arises of providing a scientific and methodological justification for the effectiveness and appropriateness of using AI in the process of organizing students’ independent work, as well as identifying the advantages, limitations, and risks of such integration
