У статті обґрунтовано необхідність формування та розвитку економіки знань. Досліджено недоліки існуючих інноваційних моделей під впливом процесу глобалізації, відсутності рівноправних міжнародних відносин, низьку ефективність державного управління і регулювання національної економіки. Проаналізовано розвиток науки у світі та описано перспективні напрями інноваційної політики.

The article substantiates the need for the formation and development of the knowledge economy. The shortcomings of existing innovation models under the influence of the globalization process, the lack of equal international relations, low efficiency of public administration and regulation of the national economy are studied. The development of science in the world is analyzed and perspective directions of innovation policy are described.
