Abstract:
Таким чином, слід зазначити, що дефініції розглянутих в цьому дослідженні концептів, а саме – «safety і security», в англійській мові та «безпека» в українській – частково збігаються. Спільними для них є такі значення, як: відсутність небезпеки або ризику; не знаходьження під загрозою; знаходження в безпеці; іншими словами, захищеність від ризику, загрози і т.д. Проте дефініції і лексеми, однокореневі «safety і security», мають і власні, незалежні значення.

Thus, it should be noted that the definitions of the concepts considered in this study, namely "safety and security" in English and " безпека" in Ukrainian partially coincide. Common to them are such meanings as: absence of danger or risk; not being in danger; staying safe; in other words, protection from risk, threat, etc. However, definitions and lexemes that share the same root as "safety and security" also have their own, independent meanings.
