Вважається, що третина швидкопсувних продуктів харчування псується або викидається на етапі зберігання. Ці втрати, на думку дослідників, можна мінімізувати через використання відповідної упаковки. При цьому слід звернути увагу на вимоги споживача. У випадку з м’ясним продуктом він має бути якісний, безпечний, натуральний, подовженого терміну зберігання без зміни органолептичних показників. Аналізуючи тенденції 21 століття можна виділити основні тенденції м’ясної галузі: зростаючий попит на продукти від прямого виробника (фермер, крафтовик, особисте господарство); попит на натуральні пакувальні матеріали; попит на продукт з більш тривалим терміном зберігання.

These losses, according to the researchers, can be minimized through the use of appropriate packaging. At the same time, attention should be paid to the requirements of the consumer. In the case of a meat product, it must be high-quality, safe, natural, with an extended shelf life without changing organoleptic indicators. Analyzing the trends of the 21st century, it is possible to highlight the main trends of the meat industry: growing demand for products from the direct producer (farmer, craftsman, private household); demand for natural packaging materials; demand for a product with a longer shelf life.
