В статті розглянуто елементи становлення системи навчання державних службовців в Україні, засновані на принципі її безперервності в контексті концепції навчання впродовж життя службовців органів державної влади та місцевого самоврядування. В статье рассмотрены элементы становления системы обучения государственных служащих в Украине, основанные на принципе ее непрерывности в контексте концепции обучения на протяжении жизни служащих органов государственной власти и местного самоуправления.

The article is devoted to analysis of the elements of a civil servants training system in Ukraine based on the principle of continuity in the context of the concept of lifelong learning for the officers of state and local governments. It is important to make so that systematic training of civil servants at the national level has become an integral part of their professional activities. Comprehensive training of civil servants should act as part of a state-management strategy. Continuous education should accompany the growth of education (general and vocational) potential of a public servant during his/her life, being institutionalized by the system of government and public institutions and meeting the needs of a modern society. Unity of the lifelong learning goals and specific objectives of each level are organically combined with variability and diversity of types of educational institutions, educational technologies and forms of state administration.
