dc.description	Ukraine has a long and rich history of introduction, selection and production of soybean in Europe. Since 2006, the volume of soy production in our country ranks first in Europe and is now among the ten largest producers of this crop in the world. According to the results of the analysis in Ukraine for the period 1990-2016, soybean acreage increased nearly 22 times from 87.8 to 1859.4 thousand hectares. Notably, in 2015, Ukraine had a record area of 2,135.6 thousand hectares under cultivation. There was a rapid increase in soybean acreage in Sumy. Over the past twenty five years, the area under this universal crop increased almost 92-fold from 1.3 to 118.5 thousand hectares. Presently, 6.4% of total soybean production in the country is concentrated in Sumy region. The main reasons for interest in soybeans in the region can be attributed to climate change in the direction of warming that has allowed to extend the range of farmed species, and helped to reduce the negative impact of some adverse factors. A positive trend is observed on the structure of soybean cultivated area. So, for the last twenty-five years, the percentage of soybean acreage in the total planted area increased from 0.1 to 10.6 %. However, the fate of the participation of soybeans in 2016 with a nationwide area of agricultural crops is 7.65 %. It should also be noted that the last two years obtained higher yields of soybean in Sumy region (2.1−2.7 t/ha) compared with the average for Ukraine (1.8−2.3 t/ha). The review of indicators of the development of soybean industry in Sumy region showed that in recent decades, favorable conditions has been created for the expansion of soybean production and high yields of suitable quality.	uk_UK
dc.description.abstract	В статті наведений аналіз посівних площ, врожайності та валового збору насіння сої в Україні за період з 1990 по 2016 рр. За даний період площі під соєю збільшилися майже в 22 рази з 87,8 до 1859,4 тис. га. Більш стрімко відбувається збільшення посівних площ під цією універсальною культурою на Сумщині, майже в 92 рази з 1,3 до 118,5 тис. га. На сьогодні в Сумській області виробляється 7,65 % всієї сої країни (327,1 тис. т). Проведений аналіз кліматичних умов регіону виявив збільшення теплозабезпеченості вегетаційного періоду на 245,0 °С на тлі зменшення кількості опадів на 20,0 мм. Визначені основні шляхи збільшення виробництва насіння сої за зміни метеорологічних показників. В статье приведен анализ посевных площадей, урожайности и валового сбора зерна сои в Украине за период с 1990 по 2016 гг. За данный период посевные площади увеличились почти в 22 раза - с 87,8 до 1859,4 тыс. га. Более стремительно происходит увеличение посевных площадей под этой универсальной культурой в Сумской области, почти в 92 раза с 1,3 до 118,5 тыс. га. Сейчас здесь производится 7,65 % зерна сои всей страны (327,1 тис. т). Проведенный анализ климатических условий региона выявил увеличение теплообеспеченности вегетационного периода на 245,0°С на фоне уменьшения количества осадков на 20,0 мм. Определены основные пути увеличения производства зерна сои при изменении метеорологических показателей.	uk_UK
